Hecla Announces New Greens Creek Vice President & General Manager

William (Bill) Kloth is the new Vice President and General Manager of Hecla’s Greens Creek Mine. Prior to joining Hecla, Bill was Vice President and General Manager and Mine Manager of the East Boulder Mine for Stillwater Mining Company. He’s also held several positions at different companies, including Mine Operations Manager and Mine Superintendent of the Western Mesquite Mine for Newgold Inc. and General Foreman Operations and Maintenance for Newmont Mining Company in Carlin, Nevada. Bill has more than 20 years of experience in the mining industry and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mining engineering from the Michigan Technological University.
