Vice President – Corporate Development
Rob Brown was appointed Vice President – Corporate Development in July 2016. Prior to that, Mr. Brown was a consultant for Hecla from March 2015 to December 2015. Prior to joining Hecla, Mr. Brown was President of Septemus Consulting Ltd. from October 2011 to December 2015. He also served as Vice President – Corporate Development for Fortuna Silver Mines from May 2012 to October 2014 and was Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of Calibre Mining Corporation from March 2007 to June 2011. Mr. Brown was also Manager, Exploration Business Development and Canadian Exploration for Barrick Gold Corporation from February 2003 to March 2007, and held various positions with Barrick from 1999 to February 2003.
